Hey Survivors!
Julia & Evan have been super busy prepping for GDC 2023 & Pax East 2023 over the last month! We're bringing along a playable vertical slice of Outbreak: Shades of Horror, so if you're attending either conference drop us a line so we can say Hi and you can get a quick play session in!
Work on Playable Survivors/NPCs has been a little slower than usual due to the conference prep, but we'll be back at full swing in April!
But! We have two great streams this week so keep reading!

Developer Stream #2!

Hey Survivors,
Are you ready for development stream #2?!
Sorry it took us awhile to announce this, but The next development stream will be on Feb 28th at 7PM EST on our Twitch channel
We took a look at the european time zones, and really tried to find a better time for the stream. Unfortunately both professional and familial commitments prevent us, as of right now, from holding a stream before 7pm EST. If anything changes, you will all be the first to know.
For development stream 2, we will be focusing on character creation within Unreal engine 5. Currently we are using Metahuman for the base models, and Julia will be talking about the creation process, customization and how we plan to go even further to develop more bespoke models.

Hey Survivors!
A huge thank you to the horde that showed up to our very first development stream! We loved showing off all the hard work of the past few months and getting to hear all of your questions and comments! If you didn't get a chance to check it out. Our VOD has just gone up and you can watch it here!
We were so happy to show off what you can do with our most recent build! There is more to come!
We are working on our next developer stream which will be all about the character creation process and led by Julia (your stalwart updater). Based on the feedback we have been getting from our international survivors, the time we had originally thought to have the streams, 7pm EST, is a no go. We are trying to figure out better timing to accommodate them as well. Since there are several different time zones involved, we will be running a poll on discord to see which ones are the most common before we officially schedule.
