Hey Survivors,
Did you miss us? It feels weird not coming up with a daily update for you anymore!
What we have been doing is figuring out timelines for everything. With Stadia closing its doors, we have had to pivot quickly to find a new cloud gaming platform, and that has shaken everything up a little bit.
We expect to be done figuring out preliminary timelines for development by mid-November and will have the surveys for rewards out to you by then. We want to make sure we can honor any timelines we give you and have a reliable pipeline set up for the delivery of your rewards.
If you bought a Stadia tier, don't worry! All those tiers are still able to be filled. You will get what you paid for!
Since Stadia shut down, we are going to reconfigure some of the rewards so that you can receive them on the platform of your choice with an homage to the Stadia community. We are still working out all the details. We hope to have everything figured out by mid-November when we send out the surveys.
Evan will be streaming on our Twitch Channel tomorrow night at 7pm EST to answer questions, thoughts and comments regarding Outbreak and what happens next. Please drop by if you have questions! And we are done! We are fully funded! The Outbreak is unleashed!
Outbreak: Shades of Horror will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XIS and Steam for both Windows and Linux!
We want to thank all our backers and our wonderful discord community for helping make this happen!
During the development phase we will be sending once a month updates. It will take us a little while to set up the surveys for the final rewards and we will let you know when that is all set up.

You can become a playable survivor or NPC, grab extra physical and digital copies of Outbreak: Shades of Horror on different platforms, add your name to a gravestone or the opera house plaque, and even get super limited rare items like a signed copy of the Outbreak Collection on PS4, or a rare trading card! And that's not all, there's tons more add-ons available like posters, t-shirts, vinyls and more!

Hey Survivors,
Just 24 hours to go! It's been a incredibly successful campaign and we are so pleased with the support for Outbreak: Shades of Horror and the series as a whole. In that vein, for today's update we have both a Location Spotlight and Character Focus, to share more of the great city of Cypress Ridge and her people.
A quick reminder that we are streaming today at both 2PM & 7PM EST on our twitch channel. Come hang out with Evan, play vintage video games and ask random questions. Our last stream of the Kickstarter will be Friday, September 30th, at 10 am EST as we count down to the end of the campaign. Hope to see you there!
Character Focus
The College Student
The College student came to Cypress Ridge full of hopes and dreams for new beginnings. On a full scholarship for biochemistry with a minor in Japanese at Cypress Ridge University, they were expecting to go to keggers, join a club and work hard at their prestigious internship at Arzt Memorial Hospital. They were not expecting to have to fight off zombified classmates, mutant dogs and crawl through sewers thick with toxic waste! Despite the unexpected, they are actually keeping pretty cool.
Everything is a learning experience so long as you make it out alive, right?

Location Spotlight
The Opera House
The pride of Cypress Ridge, the city's opera house is almost as old as the city itself. Recently undergoing a renovation and renaissance, the board's piece de résistance was to get famed opera singer, Michiko Yamaguchi, to sing Puccini on her tour of the states. Despite it's updated look, the opera house is built on old bones, with secret passageways and old catacombs that not even the most avid town historian knows about. Old rumors about hooded figures haunting the halls, troubling suicides, and eerie echoes down it's marble corridors at night may have been hushed up with money in the right pockets but that doesn't mean they're dead.

Stadia Announcement

Hey Survivors.
We are aware of the recent announcement regarding Google Stadia. We are fully able to deliver on all the Stadia reward tiers and add ons as none of them included a game key. If you would prefer to switch to a different rewards tier, but are having trouble for any reason please message us and let us know and we will help you switch over your pledge.
Again, please note that we can deliver still everything that was promised in the Bring it to Stadia tiers, but unfortunately, we will be unable to bring the game to Stadia as Google has decided to shut Stadia down.
We are looking forward to building an amazing retro survivor horror experience on all the platforms we can. We hope to still see you there, and fight through the Outbreak.
