Hey Survivors,

We wanted to give you a heads up that we will be locking down any orders that include one of the following add ons on BackerKit as of today. Any future pre-orders on BackerKit will be locked down within a week after the purchase.

  • Design a Questline
  • Design a Character
  • Design an NPC

We are at the stage in development where we need to access the funds to give you what you paid for.

If you do not have these add ons, your order will be locked down at a later date. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to message or pop into the discord and ask!

We feel that Unreal Engine 5 will give us the ability to give our players cutting edge graphics with optimal development time.

Our first official developer steam will be will be on Friday, January 27th on our Twitch channel. We will be giving a full rundown of how we are improving the characters, environments and and the first view at changes in gameplay!

Survey Updates and Pre Order Store
over 3 years ago – Mon, Dec 19, 2022 at 08:12:17 PM

Hey Survivors,

Apologies for the delays! As of right now, all surveys have been sent and should have been received. If you have not gotten a survey yet please reach out to us via message over Kickstarter or our Discord here and we will investigate for you.

There have been ongoing issues regarding being able to specify certain choices (what platform for your Alpha beta test, specifying the name for the opera house or graveyard, ect.).I have been working with the good people at Backerkit to get these resolved. Please make sure to update your survey if you were waiting on issues to be corrected. While we still have some time yet before the shipment phase we want to make sure we have correct info now.

Our pre order store via Backerkit has also been set up, so if you know anyone who meant to donate but never found the right time, wasn't paid that month, or just plain forgot, you can point them here!

Thank you for bearing with us as we have worked through these issue. If you have any further questions at all you can always find us on our discord or message us on Kickstarter and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Keep on Survivin'!

Surveys are Out and We are Getting Started!
over 3 years ago – Fri, Dec 09, 2022 at 01:38:44 PM

Hey Survivors,

Thank you for bearing with us! The first wave of surveys are out and everybody should be contacted by the end of the weekend. We are very excited to confirm things with you all and get started building the next generation of Outbreak for you.

If you are in the first wave of surveys, there may be bugs. If you have any questions at all, please go to the Kickstarter Supporter area of our discord and let Urshizu or Wordy Banshee (Evan and Myself) know. If you are not a discord user, feel free to message us through kickstarter and I will respond as quickly as I can.

Hardware is in there somewhere!

You may recall seeing this neat graphic in our Kickstarter! We have sourced and assembled the computer hardware needed to build the next gen experience in Outbreak. Among other things, you have made Evan very happy and he has already begun programming with gusto!

The guts of our lovely new development machine!

Lastly, for those of you who attend our weekly gaming and chatting streams on Twitch,  please be aware these will be going on hiatus as we start focusing on planning our promised Outbreak: Shades of Horror Development streams! We aim to start the first development stream in late January.

Time to get to work!

Keep on Survivin'
